Leap Motion Unity Menu
A basic project of a Virtual Chemistry Lab for gamified learning. This progect was designed and developed for Live Interactive as a concept project to discuss with possible clients and funders.
The aim of the project was to gamify the learning of chemistry lab related topics to allow autonomous learning for experiments that normally require special labs.
Technology: I used Unity 3D, C#, and Leap Motion sensor and controller.
Kinect controlled Metro Menu
This is a draft project for a company service catallogue that was built using Visual Studio metro menus. The menu is controlled using Microsoft Kinect. I had to use specific UI content that works with Microsoft Winforms as opposed to WPF apps. This also affected the ability to use the some Kintect SDK functions that were not suitable with Winforms, orvercoming this involved diving into the very details of the code and lots of trials to get them to work.
The main aim was that a user would reach the service in no more than 3 clicks using the kinect. This required an analysis of the company services catalogue then thematically structuring in in a tree that has no more than 3 levels. Usability testing was paramount since the controle is using a sensor, I was working remotely with the customer, so the testing had to be with random friends, neighbours, and even friendly passersby.
